The catch being, the final sculpture must fit inside an ordinary shoebox. The small size requirement forces artists to approach the challenges of shape and scale in new ways. The works on display range from the representative to the abstract, some are whimsical, others are closely tied to cultural heritage, but each tells a story about the unique artistic process of the individual sculptor.
